Our uniform holds significant importance in fostering a sense of belonging and community among our pupils. As well as encouraging pupils to look smart, uniform avoids unpleasant comparisons or competition over clothes and ensures that clothing does not detract from school work.
To help pupils feel part of the school community and ready to learn, we ask for your support with the following:
- All items of clothing or equipment should be marked clearly with the child’s name.
- The wearing of make-up and jewellery is not allowed.
- We ask that any watches worn are not expensive ones in case they are mislaid.
- Pupils are requested not to bring large amounts of money or valuables into school.
- Extremes of fashion in hairstyles and colours will not be allowed (natural hair colours only).
The following uniform is required for pupils in year 7 to 11. College students are not required to wear school uniform.
School Uniform: Option 1
- White shirt / blouse (long or short sleeve)
- School tie, available from school
- Navy v-neck cardigan or navy v-neck sweatshirt (with school logo)
- Optional navy blazer - school badge available from school
- Dark grey skirt or dark grey trousers
School Uniform: Option 2
- White polo shirt (with school logo)
- Navy v-neck cardigan or navy v-neck sweatshirt (with school logo)
- Dark grey skirt or dark grey trousers
Footwear:
- Black shoes with a low heel or plain black trainers and grey socks. High-heeled shoes, brightly coloured/brand-logoed trainers and Crocs or similar footwear are not permitted under any circumstances.
PE kit:
- White PE t-shirt (with school logo) or plain white t-shirt
- Black shorts or black skort
- Black fleece - optional item for colder weather (with school logo)
- Black jogging pants - optional item for colder weather
- Black trainers
All pupils are required to change for Physical Education into the PE kit and trainers.
Where appropriate, pupils are encouraged to shower after PE to promote personal hygiene and independence skills.
Hydrotherapy kit:
- Swimsuit / swim shorts / splash shorts
- Towel
- Shampoo / shower gel / hairbrush / hygiene products

Sweatshirts, cardigans, polo shirts and PE polo shirts with logo can all be purchased online from Goodies at the link below. School badges and ties can only be bought from school with cash. All other uniform items can be purchased from most shops/supermarkets.
