Some of our Year 11 students recently enjoyed a fantastic trip to Blackpool Zoo, where they spent the day exploring the wide variety of animals and attractions on offer.
Throughout the visit, students had the opportunity to learn more about different species from around the world, discovering interesting facts about their habitats, behaviours and conservation. They particularly enjoyed seeing some of the zoo’s most popular animals up close and taking part in the interactive learning experiences available throughout the day.
The trip was also a wonderful chance for students to spend time with friends, build confidence and independence and create lasting memories outside of the classroom. The smiles on everyone’s faces throughout the day were a clear sign of how much the experience was enjoyed.
It was a brilliant day out for all involved, and we would like to thank the staff who helped make the trip such a success. We look forward to many more exciting learning experiences in the future.
